Fired Up About Research

During the summer of 2007, the Fire Protection & Safety Technology Program at Oklahoma State University co-sponsored the "Fired-Up About Research, Science and Engineering" camp along with the office of Institutional Diversity and Academic Support. Fired-Up gave 18 high school student from throughout the state of Oklahoma an 0pportunity to learn about chemical engineering, fire science, robotics and other engineering fields. Professor JD Brown, the director of the Fired-Up Academy is planning to renew the camp for at least the next two years. Pictures of the three teams are below.
